Darwin Ortiz

Darwin Ortiz combined rigorous card technique with a strong sense of theatre. His books Strong Magic and Designing Miracles became key works on presentation, structure and the construction of memorable magic.

As a performer and author, Ortiz argued that method alone is not enough: every moment of a routine should strengthen the audience’s experience. His work continues to guide card magicians and creators around the world.
