The Web - Close Up

The Web by Jim Pace is widely considered one of the most shocking and high‑impact card tricks ever created. What begins as an innocent packet trick ends with a visceral, unforgettable reaction — the kind of moment that makes audiences jump, scream, and remember you forever.

The routine starts with four blank cards placed onto the spectator’s open hand. Spider‑web images appear and vanish from the cards in a playful, magical sequence. Then, as the spectator waves their hand over the cards, they suddenly discover a large plastic spider sitting on the back of their hand.

The load is invisible. The timing is perfect. And the reaction is explosive.

Used in the right setting, The Web delivers one of the strongest emotional punches in close‑up magic. It’s simple, direct, and devastatingly effective — but be warned: this is not for the faint‑hearted.

Comes complete with Bicycle‑stock cards, adhesive, spider, and full instructions.
